Hey Everyone,

Term 4 is officially underway and I've been stoked to meet so many of you so far. It's been a fairly hectic transition out of my job as senior designer at Print Central into my new role with 4Front, but I'm pleased to say that things are starting off really well and I'm starting to get a good feel for where everyone is at in the course material. I'm seeing some great playing!

Last week was particularly busy for Ailsa (my wife) and I with performing Wednesday night at Skyline, Saturday at Lake Hayes and Sunday in Wanaka. Not to mention on the way home from Wanaka we got stuck on the Crown Range and had to take the long way home... but everyone had a great time, with plenty of singing and playing some great songs!

I'll be sending out confirmation of your lesson time over the next day or so just for clarity for you all. Also will be invoicing for the term shortly which I'll just pop in the email.

Speaking of email... we're still in the process of setting up my schoolofguitar.co.nz email - so in the meantime please email me here...

Practice is so important if want to be good at anything in life!!

Over the holidays I have been playing a few gigs & I also took the family to Tekapo to hang out with friends for a few days...My little girl Indyana thought she was pretty cool in the hot pools under a star soaked sky...what a beautiful country we live in!!!

I am looking forward to learning some new stuff with you guys this term so I hope you're ready for it.

Hi All,

Yesterday I had the privilege of singing the NZ national anthem at the final of the NZ rugby sevens. Now Queenstown is known for its hot summers but I was literally 'singing in the rain' and the cold which is a bit odd for this time of year....I have had many gigs on & witnessed lots of people getting married over the last couple of weeks playing at 5 wedding receptions!

On Wed my wife & I are going to take Indy to Riverton to get some well needed sea time :) I might even write a song about the weather...
